This site is dedicated to Ford's Sierra XR4x4, the best 4x4xFAR.
My name is Simon Rook and I live in Warwick, England. I wanted a Sierra XR4x4 when it was launched in 1985 and now I have my dream car. I want to make this the best XR4x4 site on the web, but please bear with me!
I hope to include some more pages, for engine tuning tips, a competition history for the car, and a hit or miss page for people to comment on work carried out for their XR4x4's at various 'garages' and tuning establishments around the UK.

The Cologne V6 Engine

The cologne engine is shown here in 2.8 injection form. Certainly not the most technically advanced engine, but one that can be made to deliver a reasonable amount of power - if you know what to do.
I hope to have a page with helpfull tuning tips soon!

Competition history
|
The XR4x4 does not have a great history in competition. However I do hope to add a page soon that sumarises the history, and may even surprise a few of you.
If anyone has a colour photo of the works rally cars please E-mail it to me, as I would love to include it!
